Baby Room - 3 months - 2 years

The Babies home is split between two rooms on the ground floor of the main farmhouse building consisting;

Activity Room - This room is equipped with a wide range of resources of both large and small equipment and runs the length of the house.

Sensory Room - This soft carpeted room is predominantly the base for younger babies and where stimulating fibre optic lights twinkle away, together with padded mats and partly mirrored walls and other toys.

Tweenies - 2 - 3 years

Tweenies are located on the first floor of the main farmhouse building and utilise one open plan room and a separate smaller room.

The main large room is where the majority of work & play takes part, including messy play with water, sand and the much loved "gloop". The room is adequately resourced for children are aged two ensureing that all children are adequately stimulated and challenged as they learn on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

The "Top" room is located off a secure landing and again are resourced and set out to provide a fun and friendly environment, with differing and challenging resources that include dressing up areas, physical role play, creative areas in addition to a nice peaceful sleeping area and an abundance of educational toys.

Pre School - 3 years +

Pre School is located in the outbuilding and consists of a large activity room with an adjoining bathroom fully equipped with mini facilities including wash basins and hand dryer. The main room is divided into various areas including a computer area complete with an interactive touch screen for educational learning, an imaginative play area, a home corner with dressing up clothes, a creative area which includes sand, water, painting, model making, play dough & writing/drawing materials, as well as table activities, construction toys, and a book corner.

Outdoor Play Area`s

The children have access to approximately 500 square meters of outdoor play area, some laid to grass, some to slab, some to soft bark and some to child friendly spongy tarmac, all of which are fully fenced and secure.

Tweenies & Pre School`s main outdoor play area is located at the rear of the building and overlooking a field where the horses run and play, is an adequately equipped area with a large number of wheeled toys, a playhouse, shaded sensory area and messy play area with water and sand.

This area is part laid to slab and partly artificial grass, with a 30 metre strip to the very rear all laid with child friendly bark where there is an abundance of activities for the children to while away their time, including play kitchen, staged area, slide and false bridge and two planting areas that are used to grow vegetables that are used by the nursery cook.

To the side of these areas, the Babies have their own secure area equipped with mini climbing frames and various wheeled toys, plus mirrored and stimulating walls, all based on a soft spongy floor and in view of the older children so siblings can see and communicate with each other.
