Registration Fees / Securing a place at Mereside Farm children`s Nursery

To secure a place for your child, we require payment of £200.00. £50.00 is a non refundable registration fee with the balance of £150.00 being held on account and deducted from your child`s last invoice providing a full calendar months notice and no fees are overdue. If you would like to secure a place at Mereside Farm Children`s Nursery, then you will be required to complete and hand in a registration form along with payment as stated above. Once your child`s place is agreed you will be offered `settling in` sessions to suit you and your child.

Late Fees

Late Fees will be charged at the rate of £10.00 per 10 minutes.

We would point out that we do not like charging these fees but unfortunately we do incur additional staff costs if you are late which have to be covered. We will provide a warning on the first occasion but thereafter if you are more than 5 minutes late this charge will be automatically applied to your invoice.

Sickness and holidays

Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds for a child’s absence of whatever nature including holidays, sickness and nursery closure due to bad weather.

If we are given notice of at least one full week (Monday to Friday) of holiday or absence from the Nursery, then any food pre-booked will be cancelled and no charges made.

Notice to leave the Nursery

We require one full calendar months notice if you wish to withdraw your child from the Nursery. Providing that this notice period is given then the deposit element paid will be deducted from the last months invoice.

Where the safety and well being of your child is concerned it is important to select the best child care and education that you are able to afford. In order to help you to calculate this it is useful to be aware of what financial help is available. Outlined briefly below are details of the assistance which may be available to you, the nursery management will be happy to discuss these in more detail.

Childcare Vouchers

We accept a majority of Childcare vouchers, which is a tax efficient way of paying for childcare fees, as monies to fund these vouchers are deducted from your gross pay (rather than net), thus saving you on National Insurance and Income tax payments.

If interested then you should speak with your employers to establish if they are registered with a childcare vouchers scheme.
